Traceability is no longer unique to pharmaceutical and food companies, but in recent years the term became mandatory in all types of production. New requirements for connecting processes related to raw material input, transformation process and the process of distribution/sales of finished products are continuously appeared.

Traceability must be enabled in both directions: from raw material supplier to the purchaser of the finished product, in case of need for the withdrawal of certain products from consumption, and in the direction of the purchaser to the vendor, if necessary to discover the causes of poor quality products.
